Committed to providing unsurpassed quality and compliance, Bayer Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Services is backed by a $150 million investment to optimize its Kansas pharmaceutical manufacturing site. Strategically located in Shawnee, Kansas, the 52-acre site serves as a central production and distribution hub for all of our clients in North America and throughout the world.

The site includes two primary production facilities. Shawnee I (212,000 foot²/19,700 meter²) contains laboratory services, packaging, and administration capabilities. The recently constructed, FDA and EU-approved Shawnee II (100,000 foot²/9,290 meter²) is a dedicated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility complete with state-of-the-industry utilities systems including WFI water system, zoned HVAC, HEPA filtration, dedicated steam supply, and class A-F manufacturing environments.

Also available at the Kansas pharmaceutical manufacturing site is a world class, fully climate controlled warehousing and distribution center (242,000 foot²/22,500 meter²) commissioned November, 2004, with point of use distribution capabilities.
