Sterile Injectables

Bayer Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Services offers flexible solutions for sterile injectables solutions. Compounding capabilities include formulation and sterile transfer employing vessels ranging from 100L to 4000L in size. Both in-line sterile filtration or terminal sterilization are used to insure product sterility. In-line depyrogenation insures sterilization of glass vials and filling occurs in a modular clean room environment. Accuracy of filling, providing both economic and precision solutions, is accomplished using net weigh filling technology with capabilities to handle glass vials ranging from 4mL to 250mL.

Complimenting the automated glass preparation and precious filling process is in-line vial inspection, automatic labeling, cartoning and leaflet insertion, shrink wrap bundling, and case-packing. On-line 100% inspection of all printed materials is performed using either state-of-the-industry vision systems and/or bar code readers.

Standard to all of our modern, flexible equipment are the following general utility/infrastructure systems including: automated process controls system and building automation systems, clean-in-place/steam-in-place capabilities, and continuous nonviable particulate monitoring of sterile work areas.
